About Shruti Chadha
Designing spaces with soul — where every detail feels intentional, calm, and deeply personal.
Designing Spaces with Soul
Some journeys begin with a plan. Others begin with a feeling — something quieter, harder to define, yet impossible to ignore.
Shruti’s work belongs to the latter, where design is not imposed, but discovered… slowly, intuitively.
Based in Delhi, she approaches each space as a conversation between form and emotion. There is a balance she seeks — where minimalism does not feel cold, and warmth does not feel overwhelming.
What emerges is a sense of calm that feels both considered and effortless. Her spaces are never just composed — they are felt.
Every line, every texture, every pause within the design carries intention. The result is not something that demands attention, but something that stays with you… quietly, over time.

Her Approach
For me, every space begins as a quiet narrative. Not something I try to define too quickly, but something I allow to unfold — layer by layer — guided more by feeling than by form. I don’t begin with materials, I begin with emotion.
A single thought, a mood, a certain stillness… and from there, textures, forms, and surfaces start to find their place. What I choose is never forced — it has to feel like it belongs.
There is a rhythm I trust in my process. Where nothing feels excessive, yet nothing feels incomplete. I try to shape spaces that hold life gently — that can be lived in, moved through, and returned to with ease.
In the end, it’s never just about how a space looks. It’s about how it sits with you… how it understands you… and how naturally it becomes a part of your everyday.

Inspiration
A lot of what I create begins outside the studio. In places that don’t ask to be designed — a stretch of stone shaped by time, the way light moves through a quiet landscape, or the stillness of a place that stays with you long after you’ve left.
Travel has always been a quiet teacher for me. Not in obvious ways, but in fragments — a texture, a colour, a rhythm of space. These moments don’t translate directly, but they find their way back… softened, reinterpreted, and woven into the design.
I don’t try to replicate what I see. I carry what I feel. And over time, these influences settle into the work — making each space layered, personal, and gently distinct from the last.
A Sense of Vision
I am drawn to spaces that do not ask for attention, yet hold it quietly. Where calm is not designed, but felt… and elegance arrives without effort. What I seek to create are spaces that stay — not just in how they look, but in how they make you feel, long after you’ve left them.
The Way I Approach It
I approach design with a certain honesty. To create with intention, to choose with care, and to always keep the experience of living at the center. For me, it is never just about form — it is about how a space responds to you, and how naturally it becomes a part of your life.

Experience
Over the years, my work has been shaped not just by time, but by the spaces I’ve had the opportunity to create. Each project carries its own rhythm — teaching me to listen more closely, refine more deeply, and trust the process beyond what is immediately visible.
With over 8 years of experience, I have worked across luxury residences, modern apartments, and curated commercial spaces. From concept to completion, every project is approached with the same intent — to create something that feels considered, personal, and lasting.
Today, with multiple projects under construction and a growing team beside me, the journey continues to evolve. Not just in scale, but in depth — with each space reflecting a more nuanced understanding of design, and of the people it is created for.
The journey continues…
